Bad tap

Tap is considered bad if the values exceed 48 dB UpStream(y) and 7dB DownStream(y). In all other cases validation can be passed by using an amplifier or by swapping TV boxes. (New TV boxes pass validation while still packed)

The tap report requires:

Take at least 2 photos from two different tap ports showing the signal plus a photo from Channel scan. The photo should clearly show the tap and the meter connected to it. There is an example photo on the page.

Do metrics on all three locations (No matter what the result) and upload to the server via WIFI (How to unload via WIFI)

Next, Create tap maintenance through the app.

You can see how it's done here: Refer2Maint

(The video shows the Bucket truck assist order, the Tao Maintenance procedure is not much different, the main difference is to select "Refer to Maintenance" at the beginning)

After creating an order, take a screenshot of the ticket number and send an email to your local office:

Subject line: Tap Maintenance

In the content write: the job number, a small description of the problem, add a photo with meter, and screenshot of the ticket.

Then proceed to installation ignoring the bad signal and close the work , validation will fail, not a problem, Press "Proceed" >>> EXCEPTION.

In this window, select "Refer to Maintenance required"or something related to Maintenance and click OK.

If you get the error "Please test Tap...", this means that you have not uploaded failed meter readings to the server.

The application will now authorize you to close the job. The order will be closed with the code "Refer to Maintenance" Within couple of days the signal will be fixed and the customer will feel the full power of the Spectrum signal.

The work will be paid for as standard.
